Assistant Golf Pro

Overview:
Beaver Creek Golf Course is a public facility located on the Northwest side of the Des Moines metropolitan area in Grimes, Iowa. Beaver Creek enjoys a 27-hole bent grass facility, averaging around 59,000 rounds of golf per year. The successful applicant will be required on-site March - November, with an average work week of 40 hours per week. The employee can then receive additional income through a source of their choosing during December - February. Also, there could be the opportunity for additional income through Beaver Creek during December - February.

Essential Responsibilities
- Works under the direct supervision of the Head Golf Professional.
- Assist with 50 annual charity and corporate golf events.
- Assist with 10 weekly golf leagues.
- Able to help keep the golf shop and its merchandise clean and tidy.
- Using excellent customer service skills and establishes effective working relationships with other employees and all guests.
- Trustworthy and honest when dealing with cash, guests, and merchandise in everyday work.
- Scheduling and an ability to be flexible is key to this position.
- Assist with the merchandising operation along with the purchasing of merchandise.
- Assist with food and beverage as needed.
