Drive Away Childhood Hunger 2026

No child should ever have to wonder where their next meal will come from, yet more than 120,000 — 1 in 6 — Iowa kids face food insecurity. Food Bank of Iowa is on a mission to change that, and you can help, too.

Join us for Drive Away Childhood Hunger on Sept. 24, 2026 at Talons Golf in Ankeny, where every swing supports meals for kids. The day includes a round on the private 19-hole course, catered lunch, on-course activities, prize wheel, silent auction, post-tournament reception and tours of the Car Barn – filled with Dennis Albaugh’s celebrated Chevrolet collection.

Funds raised will directly benefit Food Bank of Iowa’s childhood hunger programs, helping ensure every child has access to the food they need to thrive.
